#1 Istanbul on Line
The project ISTANBUL on LINE is a big study about a 26 km long path (Line) straight across Istanbul. It shows, how a city can be observed by “line-walking”. In Fabruary 2007 a group of 10 people (students of architecture, urban design, and photography) walked in 3 days on one single Line from West to East, to face the big metropolitan area and public space of Istanbul in an experimental way. The continuous walk is an intensive urban adventure and a big experience full of life, that produced a new imagination beyond the official image about Istanbul.

Die stair.play.gallery präsentiert unter dem Motto “Kleiner Raum. Große Ideen.” im Treppenraum der Grazer Zeichensäle eine Plattform für externe Studierende, die eingeladen werden den Raum zu bespielen. Die stair.play.gallery definiert einen Ort des Austausches zwischen österreichischen und internationalen Studierenden und bietet Ausblicke über den grazer Tellerrand. Die stair.play.gallery ist ein Projekt der Grazer Zeichensäle 1234.
