I bet some of you could script that it in Processing, Lisp or what ever. You will have to think about arrays, variables and classes. For 600 EUR/ square meter I offer a little mediation and draw your script on white cardboard in thise loose and crumpy style …:-).
3d software tests
now i want u to show some Simulations which i testet at the Institute for architecture and media/ TU GRAZ.
i started a few months ago to set the old workstations hp x4000, and now i finished the settings for maxwell mxi merge, vray distributed and scanline batchrendering.
my final result:
the cluster has got 14 cores (6 cores x4000, multicore hp, 6 gig ram) and 4 times dualcore with 10 gig ram
speed test cluster to dualcore E 4300:
vray DR:
cluster= 1min 40 sek - E 4300 = 9min 15sec
Maxwell mxi:
cluster= benchmark 600- E4300 benchmark 70 (tested 900min, with merged mxi)
Scanline:
cluster 20 sec - E 4300 = 6min10 sec

in the future i will show u my newest tests with camera capturing and the used hardware (apple pro octo, sony GV D1000, sony 3ccD miniDV, greenscreen and so on…)
i´m also testing max script and autocad-lisp for parametrical design, and i hope i may immediately show u some of these laboratory files before easter .

screen modifications und sonic city reflections ist der versuch die 2 dimensionalität des projektionsschirmes zu sprengen und dem physischen mehr andacht zu schenken - so wird in dieser installation mit nur einer projektion der gesamtraum bespielt und der materialität des mediums eine stimme verliehen… eine größere version - diesmal selbst befreit vom vertikalen der wand - ist in arbeit und soll während des amaze festivals (04/2008, st.niklaas, BE) präsentiert werden…

kmkg (kern martin/kettele georg) lichtinstallation im arcadium für dietnt-jackson album release tour. 24 kreise aus styropor bespielt mit 3 beamerwelche insgesamt 2400 x 600 = 1440000 RGB - Pixel projezieren.Realisiert wurde es mit einer selbstgeschriebenen Software und Videos,welche im Processing und aus Found-Footage erstellte wurden.

Mich interessiert unter anderem dasselbe und deshalb habe ich mit zwei Freunden diesen Film für Eberhard Schrempf’s Creative Industries gestaltet und soviel Geld innerhalb einer Woche verdient, wie noch nie zuvor in meinem Leben. Schön.
Denn der nächste brotlose Job kommt bestimmt.
