a story about gravity, time and some unsettled things…
i worked in an old empty factory and there was a huge empty hall next door.one day, when i entered this space i found this two chairs standing in this excateposition in the room. the white stool was broken and the log was lying on thebroken mullion. it seemed like the end of a story, which details no one, everwill find out. gravity and time sure played a role in this story and someother unsettled things. i put the log back - back where it all might had beenstarted - on top of the stool - so the story could start over again and maybe thistime the ending will be a different one - but time and gravity will be again a part of it_fehring_2002

I dont like my house very much - its one of those which got bombed in the 2nd Worldwar and renovated in the cheapest way possible. But like everything in live - there is something beautiful in everything - you just need to find it. Caused by the urban situation and the geographic orientation - the sun strikesin every day - in such a bright way, that working on a computer is impossible, because the screen will be bleached out.
This moment will only be there for a short periode of time - in winter 5 minutesin sommer longer.
täglich* is a minimal and irritating projects working with the surrounding urban architecture and the sun. It intensifies the romantic moment of sun-stroke and reflects it to the other - shady - streetside…

screen modifications und sonic city reflections ist der versuch die 2 dimensionalität des projektionsschirmes zu sprengen und dem physischen mehr andacht zu schenken - so wird in dieser installation mit nur einer projektion der gesamtraum bespielt und der materialität des mediums eine stimme verliehen… eine größere version - diesmal selbst befreit vom vertikalen der wand - ist in arbeit und soll während des amaze festivals (04/2008, st.niklaas, BE) präsentiert werden…

kmkg (kern martin/kettele georg) lichtinstallation im arcadium für dietnt-jackson album release tour. 24 kreise aus styropor bespielt mit 3 beamerwelche insgesamt 2400 x 600 = 1440000 RGB - Pixel projezieren.Realisiert wurde es mit einer selbstgeschriebenen Software und Videos,welche im Processing und aus Found-Footage erstellte wurden.

Für die daswerk Ausstellung “Signale” haben Matthias Jäger, Barbara Heier und Katharina Haring ein Schaufenster im Streamline Look gestaltet. Symbolisch stellt die Arbeit in abstrahierter Weise einen Fluss der verschiednen Signale im Äther dar.
Sonnenschutz
Ein Sonnenschutz der besonderen Art im “Urban Flair” gehalten. Weiße Dispersionsfarbe im Scheibenzwischenraum sollte eigentlich die Sonne abhalten - funktioniert nicht, sieht aber gut aus.

Handgemachte Typografie
“Öl, Öl!”, brüllte ich immer noch und machte dann Bewegungen wie Öl das aus dem Boden schießt.
Handgemalte Typografie auf meiner Wohnzimmerwand. Mit rostroter Innendispersion, Vorzeichnung Bleistift. Mit der Georgia von Matthew Carter, einer schönen Barock-Antiqua.
